Evernote is an app that helps you remember everything by allowing you to take notes, capture photos, create to-do lists, save voice reminders, and then efficiently organize them into separate searchable notebooks. It has it's own desktop version that syncs with your mobile device and even has it's own
Google Extension.
When creating a note in Evernote you'll be asked if you would like to type the note, take a snapshot, record the note with audio, or upload a file. Once you have created the note, you can then file it into one of your Notebooks so that it is perfectly organized into the app. Besides notebooks, you can also look for and organize notes with tags, searchable words that help describe the note, or via places meaning the location you were in when you created the note.
There is also a
Premium upgrade with Evernote that activates smarter searching in documents, access to your notes even while offline, better presentation mode, and more storage space for your notes. It is $5 per month, or $45 per year for the upgrade.
The desktop version features the same functions as the application does with the comfort of using your computer and a larger screen.
